The team at Personal Choice Funeral Directors have created beautiful and poignant window displays in honour of this year’s Remembrance Day at all three of their branches in St Austell and Par.
Mt Charles Road, St Austell pictured above features a moving image of a solider reflecting upon a grave and poppies decorating the window.

Par’s window space is decorated with Union Jack flags, poppies and two white crosses stand out against the backdrop.

And in Alexandra Road, St Austell’s window, there is a tribute to Harry Billinge MBE.
Harry Billinge MBE was a British soldier who served as a sapper during the Normandy landings. After World War II, he moved to Cornwall, where Personal Choice Funeral Directors are located. Billinge was appointed MBE in the 2019 New Year Honours for services to charitable fundraising, including raising more than £25,000 towards the cost of construction of the British Normandy Memorial, dedicated to soldiers who died under British command during the Normandy landings. Harry Billinge MBE died on 5 April 2022, at the age of 96.
Please join us at Personal Choice Funeral Directors in remembering him and all those who have served and sacrificed their lives.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them.
